Connecting your MEXC account to Tres

To load your MEXC exchange activity into Tres, we need three things from you:

  1. Read-only API keys (for live balances and recent activity)

  2. Your full transaction-history export (for the complete historical ledger)

  3. Your Earn / Rewards / Airdrop history (these are not available any other way)

MEXC's API can only return recent history, so the history export in step 2 and the rewards export in step 3 are required for a complete, reconciled picture. Please provide all three.

1. Read-only API keys

We use the API to read your current balances and your most recent deposits, withdrawals, and trades.

Create the key

  1. Log in to MEXC → hover your profile → API Management (or go to mexc.com/user/openapi).

  2. Click Create API.

  3. Give it a name (e.g. Tres).

  4. Permissions — enable read only:

    • ✅ Account Reading / View (spot account + wallet balances)

    • ❌ Spot Trading — leave OFF

    • ❌ Withdraw — leave OFF

    Tres never needs trade or withdrawal permissions. A read-only key cannot move or trade your funds.

  5. IP access — required. MEXC will not let an API key read your account until an IP is whitelisted. Add Tres's collector IP address to the key's allowlist:

    Whitelist IP: 172.190.178.94,172.161.128.154,44.207.48.224,34.192.2.121

    Without this, the key returns an authentication/permission error and no data can be loaded.

  6. Complete MEXC's security verification and copy both values:

    • Access Key (API key)

    • Secret Key (shown only once — copy it now)

Send these through the secure channel your Tres representative provides — never by plain email or chat.

2. Full transaction-history export

The MEXC API only retains a short window of history:

Anything older than that is not available via the API, so we need your exported history to load your full activity.

How to export

  1. Go to Orders / Wallet → export in the MEXC web app (the "Export Statement" / "Transaction History" download).

  2. Set the date range to cover your entire account history — from the day you started using MEXC up to today (MEXC allows exporting up to ~540 days per request; if your history is longer, export in consecutive ranges so nothing is skipped).

  3. Export and download the file. MEXC delivers a .zip containing several spreadsheets.

What the export contains

You can send us the whole zip. The files we rely on most:

  • Spot – Spot Statement — the complete, authoritative ledger of every balance change (trades, fees, deposits, withdrawals). This is the most important file.

  • Spot – Spot Order History / Spot – Trade History — your orders and fills.

  • Funding History – Deposit History / Withdrawal History / Transfer History — on-chain and internal movements.

  • Spot – Convert History — any "convert" / small-balance conversions.

Send us

  • The complete history .zip (e.g. MexC Data-YYYYMMDD…zip), covering your full account lifetime.

3. Earn / Rewards / Airdrop history ⚠️ often missed

MEXC has no API for Earn, Savings, Staking, Launchpad, or reward/airdrop distributions, and these are only partially captured in the statement export above. In our experience this is the single biggest cause of a balance not reconciling — tokens appear in your account with no corresponding trade or deposit because they arrived as an event airdrop, Launchpad/Kickstarter reward, Earn payout, or promotional distribution.

So that we can account for every asset you hold, please also export/provide:

  • Earn / Savings / Staking history — subscriptions, redemptions, and interest/reward payouts (from Wallet → Earn, export or screenshots of the reward history).

  • Airdrop / Launchpad / Kickstarter / event-reward history — any tokens you received from MEXC campaigns.

  • If a downloadable export isn't available for these, a screenshot or a simple list works: asset, amount, and date received.

Send us

  • Any Earn / Staking / reward export, or a list of the reward/airdrop tokens with asset + amount + date.

Quick checklist

  • API Key and Secret Key (read-only permissions, no trade/withdraw)

  • Tres collector IP whitelisted on the key: 172.190.178.94,172.161.128.154,44.207.48.224,34.192.2.121

  • Full-history statement .zip covering your entire account lifetime

  • Earn / rewards / airdrop history (export, screenshots, or a simple asset+amount+date list)

Once we have all four items we can load your MEXC account and reconcile it end-to-end. If any Earn/reward data is missing, those specific assets may show an unexplained balance until it's provided.
